My Church

Evening Light Fellowship

    Let me tell you a little of my church. It is called Evening Light Fellowship and it is located in Phoenix, Arizona. I have visited many churches and I can tell you that this church has touched me as no other has done.

    Being an only child I have always longed to be part of a family and God has lead me to the most wonderful family. I have found brothers and sisters who believe as I do and are committed to serving our Lord. By our commitment we are closer to each other because we believe alike. When we talk (fellowship), we can go beyond the surface pleasantries and connect with someone at a deeper, more meaningful level. Someone who cares. Someone who goes through, and experiences, many of the same things.

    Our little Sunday school has children of all ages raised by people, and taught by people, who are trying to shape their lives with the message that God loves them and cares for them. An active youth group insures that our young adults have peers who are seeking to raise the standard and foster a positive influence in each of their lives.

    We have been blessed by having a pastor, Ron Peterson, who is warm, caring, and yet uncompromising with the Word of God. Spiritual and natural matters are based on biblical principles. We are fundamentalists. If God said it, I believe it, and that settles it!  If you have read any of my testimony you can see how God has used my pastor to so positively influence myself, and my household. That is because he is a man of God, who humbles himself before God and who is used by God to care for and protect His sheep. Someone who really cares.

    I invite you to share the gospel (good news) of what God is doing, in our day, right here in Phoenix, Arizona. I can promise that if you share one of services you will never be the same. We have two Sunday Services, one at 10:00AM and the other at 5:00PM. We have another midweek service on Wednesday evenings at 7:30PM.    What we've seen happen should put every soul in action. It should make a church that would make a revival here in Phoenix, that people would be flying in from Europe to see what taken place. They'd say, "There's a place in Arizona called the Maricopa Valley, a city called Phoenix.
