Statement of Belief

I am a Christian. I acknowledge that fact that God, in
the form of His son Jesus Christ, has come to earth and died on the cross for me.
Because of that I dedicate my life to living for Jesus Christ.
I know that I was born into this world speaking lies and that it only got worse as I got older. My God is a righteous God and someone had to pay the horrendous price for all of the things that I did, and now continue to do. I know that God so loved me that He provided a perfect sacrifice to take away my sin. That price was Himself incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ. Because of that sacrifice on my behalf I now call Him my Lord.
Because of what Jesus willingly did on the cross to redeem me, I strive daily to give up my life, desires and ambitions and allow myself to be led by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. I know that He walks with me and talks with me and He has called me his own. I strive to so sensitize myself to the unseen presence of my Lord that everything that I do and say are exactly what He would do and say [I fail constantly]. But beyond parroting what He would say and do, I want to give up my life for Him and allow Him to dwell within me and use me as He sees fit. As He died that I might live, I want to die to myself that He might live within me.
I believe that the Holy Bible is an accurate record of the things that God has chosen to do to redeem (bring back) man to Himself. I know it to be written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit and because of that I believe it to be the Word of God Himself. This is my absolute. I endeavor to know everything I can about my Lord.
Because God knew that that desire would be within me He sent a prophet
in this last day to turn my heart back to Himself. God has always dealt with
His people by a prophet. He sent William Marrion Branham to this dying generation to
show the way to salvation. God dwelled with William Branham and showed that He did
so by innumerable signs and miracles. The signs and miracles are not, in themselves,
important but what is important is that God was calling attention to what this prophet
said. This prophet only said what Jesus said, he only said what the apostle Paul
said. He echoed the Bible in everything. In fact, everything that William
Branham said can be confirmed by our Holy Bible, the Word of God.
I, and countless others, have checked what this prophet said with our Holy Scriptures. Everything he said can be confirmed and vindicated in the Bible. William Branham never drew people to himself, rather he always pointed people to Jesus Christ. It is only by knowing Jesus Christ that you can have any hope of salvation.
This testimony has been my labor of love for two and a half years. My only reason for doing so is to encourage others who might be searching. There are many resources to help you and on the next page I have listed a few that I'm sure you will find encouraging.
My sincere prayer is that you will read this testimony and overlook me. See, rather, that in spite of me, God, in Jesus Christ, found a way to bring me back to Himself. What He did for me He stands ready to do for you.
